There's always the one that got away, and generally we take it on the chin, it's part of the game. You know you're entering a competitive pitch, no one's forcing you to do it. That being said, on this occasion we were on the miffed side of miffed; I'm not sure why exactly, partly because we really believed in the creative work we produced, and partly because it was going to be a great and very public event that we would have loved to have been associated with.
The final event was, I think, a great success, and we can see why the Celebrate the City committee made the decision they did, as the identity was very visible and memorable. The moral of the tale - well I'm not entirely sure, other than you never stop learning and never give up!
